https://doi.org/10.1016/j.electacta.2019.135321 Guozhen has won an award to attend Future Women Leaders Conference 2019 happening in 18-19 November at Monash University.
The study originated from Liu's ID2 group, Adaptive in vivo device for theranostics of inflammation: real-time monitoring of interferon-<gamma> and aspirin, has been accepted for publication in Acta Biomaterialia. It is an interdisciplinary collaboration work with Prof Xin Chen in XI'an Jiaotong University. This study is a symbolic achievement on development of an in vivo device for diagnosis and therapy towards the precision medicine. Congratulations to the team, well done!
The article is now available online at: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.actbio.2019.10.021 Dr Liu's application for promotion to the level of Associate Professor at UNSW is successful!.
A new PhD student Mahroo Baharfar joins ID2 this week. Welcome onboard! Mahroo will work on microfluidic chip for sweat biosensing.
Guozhen is awarded the UNSW-CAS Collaborative Research Bridging Grant of $50,000. This grant is to facilitate the collaboration between her team and Prof Zhang’s team at Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, CAS to work on Intelligent AIE-DNA nanotrains for precision nanomedicine.
Dr Guozhen Liu has given a well-received oral talk on an adaptive in vivo device for real time monitoring of cytokines towards precision theranostics in inflammation, at 16 Sep at the 14th World Congress on Inflammation Sydney 2019, 15-19 Sep. Her talk is to share her interdisciplinary research on real-time cytokine sensing and cytokine triggered drug delivery with biologists, to impact the precision diagnosis and treatment of inflammation.
Fei's paper "Polymer brush based fluorescent immunosensor for direct monitoring of interleukin-1ß in rat blood" has been accepted to be published in Analyte and is featured as the Journal Front Cover.
